WLC trip to Valley Forge - February 2008
Presidents' Day Weekend Celebration on February 18th at Valley Forge National Historical Park. The children made birthday cards for the President and enjoyed colonial cake to celebrate George Washington's 276th birthday. They also made tri-corner hats for themselves. The children then enlisted into the colonial army where they were given instructions on how to march in formation and shoot colonial rifles. They went on a short march and were inspected by General George Washington himself.

He taught Sunday School about Jesus and how he prayed. My mom, god-father and I are in the picture with President and Mrs. Carter.
